My North Shore travel guide is up on the blog as of this morning!

I was hoping to publish on Sunday but I had so many recommendations that I needed a few extra days to get the post done. It feels pretty thorough, so I'm hoping it's helpful for those looking to take a North Shore vacation this summer.

It includes things to do, including a TON of hiking recommendations, along with places to grab a bite or drink in the various harbor villages along Highway 61.

I always loved going out to Point Reyes National Seashore. There's great hiking, beaches, and oysters joints, just to name a few of my favorite things.

Plus, the old S.S. Point Reyes shipwreck is always pretty cool to see.

to a weekend in Lanesboro, Minnesota in Fillmore County and my stay at Habberstad House Bed and Breakfast. Living in MN for most of my life, I had never actually heard of Lanesboro before. It was only after reading a Charming American Towns article (via Oprah Magazine !!) that I learned of this small city known as the bed and breakfast capital of MN.

Once I got there, I understood the charm pretty quickly. It has a cute main street along the Root River. From this little hub, you have a lot of options for things to do. A quick review would include biking trails, pretty drives, cute stores, and more.
