You'll see the sign the second you cross the border - roadside stands aren't hiding from anyone. Local makers line Boundary Bay Road with fresh eggs, baked goods, and botanicals, all grown or made right here in Point Roberts.

Pull over, poke around, and take a little piece of Point Roberts home with you.

Typically open Saturday/Sunday from 10am to 4pm.

The sandiest beach we've got. Maple Beach is perfect for swimming, wading or wandering the shoreline. This time of year the water temperatures rises with the fluctuating tides.

Crabbing season is open in Point Roberts. Bring the family, bring the boat (or your kayak or paddle board) and share photos here of what you pull up.

Fine print: Open days, limits, and gear rules are set by WDFW and can change during the season. Be sure to check wdfw.wa.gov for details or to buy a license. Point Roberts falls under Marine Area 7 North.

We talk about our Point Roberts sunsets. But have you ever watched the moon rise in Point Roberts? Friday's a full moon and if the sky stays clear, it's one of the best shows on our peninsula. The beaches around the Marina or Lighthouse Marine Park are your best bet for a front-row seat.

Just another reason to linger longer.
