Going out fishing for snapper is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you’re gonna get. Another fun trip with Luis and Damian today. The snappers weren’t running big, but the Cobias made up for it.

The eight hour trip was a big success and lotsa fun with Leo Salazar and family. Got a good mix of snappers (1 28 incher, and 1 25 inch mangrove snapper) Thank you much for a great time on the water 😊. Looks like we will have some good weather days starting next Sunday. Great time on the water with Kurt and Jack today. The seas were calm, the clouds kept the morning nice and cool, and the big fish were biting. However, as it happens when fishing in the gulf at times Jack was trying to fight off motion sickness and his Dad called it a day for his son’s sake. What a fun day, and we all just laughed about Jack chumming the water. 🤣. Jack says he’ll be more prepared next time. The fish are biting, and Saturday looks like a good day to hit the water again. 956-572-0029

The fish are definitely out there in state waters right now. The wind, unfortunately, has revved up again, and may stick around for a bit. Don't let that stop you from calling-up or texting me to book your spot for August through December. We're getting to the more productive fishing months for the South Padre Island area. Back to back great fishing days out near the shores of South Padre Island. Yesterday it was Luis and Mia who brought in the fish and enjoyed the boat ride on our way to and back from the fishing spots. Memorable day, Thank you 😊

What a way to start post- vacation fishing trips. Awesome time with Henry, Monica and son, Matthew, from El Paso, Texas. From the time the lines hit the water to the last minute before leaving, it was about trying to catch those sneaky, bait-stealing snappers. Thank you much for the great day and continue enjoying our beautiful Island and its waters.

Fish story! I was told to fish a certain area of the shore line of the Glenmore Reservoir in Calgary to find rainbows and perch. I hit the waters edge by 5:15 am with light 6 lb test tackle. Once I figured out the grass and drop-off layout I started working the spinner lures i had. 2 hours later I had lost 3 of my spinner baits to huge strikes. The culprit were probably northern pikes, as I managed to bring a small one in. The wakes the fish left behind looked like 25 inch plus fish, I had no chance with the light tackle, but a fun morning.
