It is not unusual for clients to catch limits of redfish, trophy trout, and flounder all in the same trip. This month's staff spotlight focuses on Charlie Buchen aka "Producer."

Charlie was born and raised in South Texas, where his love for the outdoors was instilled in him at a very young age. He graduated from Texas A&M University-Kingsville in 1993 with a degree in Range and Wildlife Management and a minor in Biology. Following his graduation, Buchen established Tailchaser Guide Service, where he has over 30 years of experience as a licensed fishing guide. He has also guided hunts extensively in Texas and northern Mexico, including 13 years for the King Ranch and 10 years with Wildlife Systems.

If you've ever been in camp with Charlie, you appreciate his enthusiastic and jovial nature, love for telling stories from the field, and thorough knowledge of the land and waters where he spends his time. He looks forward to meeting new clients and having great hunting and fishing experiences.
