Yes, I’m in my pajamas. Yes, this is sped up because I ramble. 😂 and apparently today we’re adding “restoring old furniture” to the list of things I think I can do. 😂

I can book your vacation. ✈️
I can research the resorts. 🏝️
I can fine-tune an itinerary down to the tiniest little detail.

But properly cleaning and bringing an older wooden tea cart back to life?

That is VERY much out of my wheelhouse.

…hehe. Get it? Because it has wheels? 😏😅

ANYWAY. 😂 Come spend a couple minutes watching me attempt to clean this beauty up because I am officially invested now.

And if any of my furniture-restoring, antique-loving, wood-cleaning friends are watching this and screaming at me through the screen — PLEASE help me because I really have no idea what I’m doing. 😂😅

Who says you have to go far to find a hidden gem? ✨

Today’s adventure was a little closer to home — a brunch date with my favorite tiny travel buddy at Kelly’s Creperie right here in Pueblo. 🤍

And listen… if there’s one thing you should know about me, it’s that a good crepe is absolutely the way to my heart. 😂 I LOVE a good crepe.

The winner for me? The Happy Camper — a s’mores-inspired crepe that I had to try.

And I gotta tell you…

It made me one VERY happy camper. 😂🏕️🍫

One of my favorite parts of traveling is finding those little hidden gems that make a destination special — but sometimes, those gems are hiding right in your own backyard.

Good food, supporting local, and a brunch date with a little one who’s always down for an adventure with Mom? 🥹 I’ll take it.

Because adventures with littles don’t always require plane tickets and packed suitcases. Sometimes it’s trying somewhere new, ordering the s’mores crepe, and making a memory right here at home. ✨

That feeling when you make your FINAL vacation payment and suddenly it all feels REAL?! 🤩✈️🌴

Honestly… one of the BEST feelings.

I’m so excited for this family as they officially start the countdown to CANCUN! 🇲🇽☀️🌊

They’ll be spending their vacation at the beautiful 5-star, all-inclusive Hyatt Ziva Cancun — where the hardest decisions are going to be pool or beach?, what should we eat next?, and is it too early for another frozen drink? 😂🍹

Flights? ✔️
Resort? ✔️
Final payment? DONE. ✔️
Now all that’s left to do is COUNT. 👏 DOWN. 👏 THE. 👏 DAYS. 👏

Cancun, they’re coming for you! 🏝️✨

And getting to help families turn “we should take a vacation” into “OMG, we leave soon!” will never get old. 🥹✈️

This isn’t a post I ever thought I would be sharing. I never imagined this would be part of our experience trying to conceive our second baby. My family and I are absolutely devastated.

I went into my ultrasound so excited to finally see our baby. Instead, we learned that my uterus was empty and our baby had implanted in my right fallopian tube.

Our baby didn’t set up camp where they were supposed to. 🤍

There was no way to move them and no way for the pregnancy to safely continue. Just hours after going in hoping to see our baby, I was preparing for surgery to remove my ectopic pregnancy and my right fallopian tube.

We never got to hear a heartbeat, find out if our baby was a boy or girl, feel little kicks, or hold them in our arms.

But we still lost a child.

They were wanted. They were loved. They were our baby.

I’m sharing our story because I know there are so many other moms carrying this kind of grief. Whether your loss happened at 5 weeks, 10 weeks, 20 weeks, or later—your baby mattered. Your loss matters. Your grief is real and valid. Love isn’t measured in weeks of pregnancy. You are not alone.

I’m also incredibly grateful that I was able to safely receive the medical care I needed. An ectopic pregnancy cannot survive, and continuing mine would have endangered my life. This procedure was necessary, lifesaving care, and every woman deserves access to that care when she needs it.

Now I’m healing—physically and emotionally—and grieving the little person we wanted so badly.

We wanted you, sweet baby. We loved you from the moment we knew you existed.

I’m so sorry you set up camp in the wrong place.

I wish more than anything that you could have stayed. 🤍

🍹 Piña coladas

It’s funny how kids remind us that the best vacation memories are often the simplest ones. ❤️

The laundry is done.
The suitcase is unpacked.
But mentally? I’m still watching the sunset from the top deck.

Tell me I’m not the only one who starts planning the next vacation before they’ve even unpacked. 😂💙
