Inspiring Changemakers!
Turn your next school field trip into a powerful, unforgettable learning adventure at the National Center for Civil Human Rights In Atlanta.
Students don’t just learn history-they experience it. Through interactive exhibits, compelling stories, and hands-on exploration, students will investigate Key moments of the civil rights movement.
Students will also analyze real voices, images, and primary sources as they explore civil ideals, like justice, equality, and equal rights. They can connect past struggles to their own role as active citizens today.
This high impact experience aligns with social studies standards while sparking curiosity, empathy, and meaningful classroom conversations long after the trip ends.
With a brand new renovation, the museum is now open with new exhibits and engaging curriculum based learning.
One of my favorite new exhibits is A Mile in My Shoes, where students interact with an art installation that invites them to walk a mile and someone else’s shoes while listening to their story.
Make your next trip to Atlanta to give students a field trip that’s relevant and unforgettable and inspire the changemaker in all of us!
