Spring is here! As we welcome warmer weather and longer days, many of us also begin to think about our pools. It will not be long before many of us will be ready to enjoy them once again. With our lovely warm San Diego weather, our kids have already taken their first dip!

Just a reminder that this weekend wraps up pool safety week! Has anyone made any changes for the better?

Did you know there is a Pool Safety Week? ( http://poolsafely.gov/join-week-july-28-august-3-pool-safely-week-2013/ )? Yup, coming up the week of July 28 - August 3. We thought this would be the perfect time to remind you all about the importance of pool safety, especially since with the warm weather, children and families are enjoying more time in the pool.

1. Stay close, be alert, and constantly watch children when near the pool.
2. Learn water safety skills. A great local resource for survival swimming lessons for infants and young children is http://www.ramonainfantswim.com/
3. Maintain appropriate safety equipment around your pool & spa - fences, alarms, drain covers and spa covers.
