A couple days ago we wondered if the painted trillium were still in bloom at Big Falls on the Cupsuptic River... welllll, they were!!! ❤️ We have never seen such an extensive collection of painted trillium! It was soooo much fun! The water was still high but had come down considerably from our visit two weeks ago. We're marking our calendars to be sure to be there next year at this time! You should, too!

Someone recently asked us on goRangeley if we had seen any loons yet.... We hadn't seen any, had just heard them at night at that point. Well, look what we saw on our return from that bushwhack tromp yesterday. Mooselookmeguntic Lake Causeway.... Look through the photos to see what else we got to see for the first time this year. Soooo much to enjoy in the RLRofMaine.

Another very overcast day in the RLRofMaine and even a little cold…we’re almost getting used to it!!! 😊 Good news - still no black flies! Soooo, we’re getting as much of this in as we can!
Was thrilled we found painted trilliums as well as lots of other spring blooms. Anddd, we did get to the lake!!! (And, back to our truck!) A total bushwhack day and we loved it!
