Hope those clouds rolling in are bringing some precipitation with them! 🤞🤞🤞 We’ve enjoyed the delightful sunny weather ☀️ day after day after day ☀️ for the past couple months but it’s really time for some rain! Yes, we wish it were at night so as not to “dampen” our vacationers’ fun but there’s always Moose Alley (or a good book) for rainy days! What do you do on a rainy day in Rangeley?

Boy, oh boy, oh boy….this was thrilling!!! Would have been so easy to miss him, glad we didn’t!
Momma was behind me calling baby, but baby was undisturbed by her - and me! Strong wind, by myself on the boat, trying to drive, not go ashore or hit rocks, swatting horseflies, bouncing on the waves, trying to take pictures, hoping I wasn’t upsetting Momma….all of it added up to a good workout for the ol’ ticker! ☺️ Such fun and what a thrill!!!

Another fun, fun day in the RLRofMaine! Had some friends visiting who wanted to get out on Flagstaff Lake, so we did! This is a man made lake made by damming the Dead River in the 1950’s. Always low water levels here and especially low this year… Makes the boating “interesting” 😑. We used an app called Lake Maine ($5.00) which helped a little. Went ashore on some public land for a swim and little explore, finally saw some wildlife on our way in. Great visit and a fine day in the Rangeley Lakes Region of Maine!
