Passport processing times remain low if you need to apply or renew. Most adult U.S. passport holders can renew entirely online. One important tip - Be sure to ONLY apply through the official site (travel.state.gov/renewonline) to avoid being scammed into paying more or sharing your personal information with third-party sites. If a passport site ends in “.com” or “.org” it is NOT the official site. Always look for “.gov” in the url before starting your application.

No one tells you, but I’m going to!

Pool aren’t always heated-some resorts have heated pools but only turn on the heaters during specific months or when the temperature gets below a certain number. Others simply do not heat their pools ever.

Oceanfront does not equal swimmable beach-some beaches in the Mexican Caribbean are very rocky and not conducive to swimming, while others have huge waves, rip tides and currents that make swimming risky.

Adult only resorts are not always peaceful-some may think that not having kids around make adult only resorts quiet and serene, and while some are, others are party central! Make sure to understand the vibe and choose carefully!

Room service isn’t a guarantee-while many resorts offer included room service, there are some resorts that do not offer room service at all, while others only offer it for certain room categories or during specific hours. Others will charge you a per item fee or a delivery fee.

Bali beds aren’t always included-at some resorts, the best, most comfiest and shaded spots have an extra cost, and sometimes can book up early!

Booking with a travel advisor will make sure none of these catch you off guard and that there are no surprises, just the vacation you actually wanted!

I'm disappointed to hear that Southwest Airlines is ending their long-standing "Bags Fly Free" policy and will begin charging for checked bags starting May 28, 2025. This was a significant perk that set them apart from other airlines and made up for their limited direct flight options. I understand the need to boost revenue, but I wonder how this change will affect customer loyalty in the long run. Only time will tell.

💍 We had the incredible opportunity to attend a bridal event at Pembroke Pines Country Club in Pembroke NH yesterday, and it was amazing! The location is stunning, with beautiful grounds and an elegant newly built building that sets the perfect backdrop for your special day. The bridal suite is absolutely amazing—a perfect space to get ready in style.

We also stopped by the restaurant and loved the burgers—definitely worth a visit! 🍔
