One of the most common questions I receive when planning Hawaii vacations is:

"Is the Ocean View upgrade worth it?"

The answer depends on the traveler.

An Ocean View room typically provides a more direct view of the Pacific Ocean, while a Partial Ocean View room may include a combination of ocean, city, and surrounding resort views.

For our September 2026 Hawaii getaway, some travelers selected Ocean View accommodations because they wanted to enjoy as much of Hawaii's beauty as possible right from their room. Others preferred to save the difference and use those vacation dollars toward excursions, dining, shopping, or activities around the island.

Neither choice is wrong. It's all about what matters most to you and how you want to experience your vacation.

One of the room options selected by some of our September 2026 Hawaii travelers is the Ocean View Suite at Embassy Suites Waikiki Beach Walk.

Imagine opening your curtains each morning and catching a glimpse of the beautiful Pacific Ocean before heading out to explore Oahu. While every room category offers a comfortable stay, some guests chose to enhance their experience with an ocean view to enjoy a little extra piece of paradise throughout their vacation.

🌺 Why I Selected This Hotel for Our Hawaii Getaway 🌺

When planning our September 2026 Hawaii experience, location was one of my top priorities.

Our group will be staying at Embassy Suites Waikiki Beach Walk, a beautiful all-suite hotel located in the heart of Waikiki. Guests will be within walking distance of Waikiki Beach, restaurants, shopping, entertainment, and some of Oahu's most popular attractions.

One of the things I love most about this property is that it offers spacious suites, complimentary breakfast, and a central location that allows travelers to experience the best of Waikiki without needing a car.

For many of our travelers, this will be their first time visiting Hawaii, and I wanted a hotel that offered comfort, convenience, and the true spirit of aloha.
