Today I want to talk about hair and why you should care it as your favorite possession.
:
God has gifted women with many things. Beautiful hair is one of the most desired one.
:
Some of us have gorgeous curly hair and some of rock those fine straight hair.
:
The consequence of having something gifted is we don’t take care of it. I didn’t.
:
I chopped my thick hair telling myself “IT WILL GROW BACK”
I colored my shiny locks thinking “IT’ll LOOK BETTER”
I stopped oil into my hair making up that “ITS NOT TRENDY”
:
Guess what I lost my real hair, not entirely but to a degree where I had to draw the line.

This post is to inspire you girlies to ask yourself one more time before you experiment with your hair, what’s more precious?
:
No, it doesn’t grow back. You will never get back the hair that you had when you were younger as you grow wise.
Yes, it will destroy. Harmful chemicals, heat tools, trendy haircuts all destroys our natural hair shafts and you get stuck inside a vicious cycle of “hair 💇‍♀️ salon” and “hair products “.

Hair is directly linked with our emotional health. Hair health is completely dependent on your physical health.

I say make beautiful hair trendy again. Long, short, fine or curly you are beautiful and don’t need to follow no trend.

Listen to your mom and care your hair like your favorite possession.

I’m used to having lot of responsibility at work but it’s different when you are responsible of an innocent soul.

Harleygirl and I go through the entire day trying to gather knowledge about how her brain works.

she have grown very attached to me. so much that she follows me between the rooms. 🙆🏻‍♀️

I’m thinking about trying to introduce lil bit of separation time that when it’s time for me to be away she’s fine.

BYW ! She got her new food today and unlike any other food she loved it.

JUNIPER SKY

Officially the last day of fall. Tomorrow May bring the first snow of this year. Even though the colors of authors still very prominent in the nature it’s obvious those dark cloud is onto something.
:
As you guys know I’m currently taking a break from work and staying home with Harleygirl. So, most of the days are adventurous and playful.
:
Harley and I go for several walks during the day exploring the hidden gems for our next photoshoot but today was bit different.
:
It was 3:30 in the afternoon when the dark clouds covered the sun completely bringing an early evening. The sky was dark juniper and there was a break on the horizon allowing golden sun to create beautiful silhouettes.
:
Harley said let go take some pictures. Yes, she said that!!! We walked towards to barn near my place and wow! we got some beautiful shots.

Later the wind started to roll heavily. we cameback and made some stew for dinner 🍲.

The weather is perfect today but I’m Literally buried under loads and loads of paperwork,☕️ a tea break is must.

For a cold winter morning like this I like to brew strong black tea and mix a lot... I mean a lot of vanilla coconut milk as Michael says “would you like some milk with your tea ma’am? “ 🤣 Yes plz!!! There is no dash in my dictionary 😛.

Finished replying to all the e-mails and all the what’s aap and all of guys.

Every girl has a dream and mine was to travel the world.
:
I just never thought that It would be a royal journey.
Today I complete five lovely years and six months with Emirates and gosh! It’s like yesterday when got the “Golden call”. Life was slow paced before that call.
:
It was six years ago. I have recently left my Job at a regional airline and declined a prestigious position for that I wasn’t living my full potential. I moved back to my parent’s house in Kolkata and started to accept the fact that I have to settle down, get married and make peace with a desk job somewhere in my town. I enjoyed my mom’s cooking and read a lot of newspaper.

One day as usual I was reading news and sipping on masala tea when I saw the commercial of walk in interview for emirates in my town. Without giving it any thought I turned the page and carried on with more new because the dream of TRAVELING AROUND THE WORLD was obscured. Life happened.
:
Somewhere that stirred the my soul and left me searching again....I said to my self “ONE TRY, IF I GET THROUGH I’LL RELOCATE AND IF NOT I’LL GET MARRIED”
:
Submitted my resume.
:
The hard part was to break the news to my Father. To tell him that I’m still hopeful that I can still live my dream was difficult but I did it.
He said “LETS WAIT UNTILL YOU GET EXCEPTED FOR THE INTERVIEW “Again It started to look like a dream, a far fetched one...
:
A week letter I received an invitation for the interview.
Sharp at 7 am and I was there at 6:45 behind 2000 applicants and more. That single handedly shaken me to loose the ambition but to go though the interview process for experience. The interview was 3days long. I survived till Third day. It was 4pm, we were only 12 of us left after the English tests and aptitude tests. They announced “YOU ALL HAVE AN IDENTITY NUMBER UNDER YOUR REGISTRATION IF WE CALL YOUR NUMBER YOU PASS THE INTERVIEW AND YOU WAIT FOR GOLDEN CALL”

WOW! still remember that feeling. Our landline rang and my life changed. Today I shared my story because for me it’s time to move on and start a new life. I’m parting ways with EMIRATES but it will always be the HIGHLIGHT of my life.

Perseverance
:
Month of October was full of surprises and a huge battle for Me and Michael.
:
Me getting here to visit and one fine day deciding to get married was one thing but getting a house was completely different ball game.
:
I’ve learned a lot about others but mostly about myself.
:
I’ve learned that the men in our life deserves way more appreciation for the care and responsibility they take on to make us comfortable.
:
I’ve seen My Husband not even taking break between work and flying and then roaming around the city to find a place for us.
:
It is very difficult to find a place for someone who is not from this country but he took most of the burdens and took me in. I cannot thank him more.
:
However the most challenging aspect of our very new marital life is “cooking”.
:
I’m not a cook. I can cook for my self but the thought of cooking for others makes me nervous. So between burnt brownies and uncooked eggs I’m finding my way to learn this new role of being a “wife”.
:
It changes everything.
:
I’m now responsible for so many things that daily Instagram post is often forgotten.
:
Finally, at the end of October we found a place that was for us. We are Loving the area and the city. It’s slower and quieter exactly what we both long for.
:
Next to us there is small old town called Prineville. Lovely country vibe. We wanted to visit the place before it start snowing. So we took a short trip there.
:
Speaking of snow, That will be another adaptation.
:
From 110 degrees in Dubai to snowfall will teach me a lot about survival. Am I ready for it .... No.
We shall see.
