Located inside the Palace of Versailles, just outside Paris, this 17th-century gallery is lined with 357 mirrors—used to reflect natural light and show off the wealth and power of King Louis XIV.

It was also here, in 1919, that the Treaty of Versailles was signed—officially 𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐥𝐝 𝐖𝐚𝐫 𝐈.. 📜

Arashiyama, Japan—peaceful, historic, and one of the most scenic spots just outside Kyoto.

These wooden boats on the Ōi River have been gliding through this valley since the Edo period. Back then, Kyoto’s nobility would come here to admire the changing seasons from the water—a tradition that still lives on today.

Beyond the famous bamboo grove, this riverside view deserves just as much attention.
