Soaked To The Bone Annual canoe trips on the Clarion River from Ridgway to Hallton, PA I'm pretty sure we could talk, design, build, or explode our way out of anything.

We've got property managers, artists, factory workers, military guys, newspaper men, teachers, internet entrepreneurs, engineers, nuclear technicians, attorneys, and the unemployed. But the one thing we all share in common is that for two days every year, we collectively celebrate where we're from and give a big middle finger to conventional society and it's politesse.

Mosquitos while camping?
The best part of deterring bugs is Folgers in your cup. I know it's the time of year that everyone is outside late and everyone uses a ton of bug spray and chemicals... but if you want a simple way to keep mosquitoes away without all the sticky sprays and chemicals simply get you some ground coffee in a heat safe bowl and light it like you would a candle until you get a steady stream of smoke.
It doesn't smell awful and will keep mosquitoes away from a good size area . Mosquitoes hate coffee (Google it if you don't believe me 🥴) and burning it keeps them far away... You're welcome ❤️

Ok so here is the official report! Lazy River Canoe Rental is now located at 260 west main street! We are at the Ridgway Mills Campsites! We will be ready for business before fishing season! Stay tuned!

Good morning Pale Whalers! We have officially opened for the season. Here are the daily stats:

Current Depth: 3.41
Flow: 973
Temperature: 59 degrees
Minimum Age: 6 years old

We open at 9 am and will run these trips all day until the following times:

12 pm: 10 Mile Canoe or Kayak
2 pm: 4 Mile River Raft
4 pm: 4 Mile Canoe or Kayak

All equipment must be returned to the dock by 6 pm. All equipment is first come first serve. We do not take reservations. You must be signed up before the cutoff times so consider this when planning your visit.

Remember, we update every day based on the conditions we observe. The river and weather conditions are unpredictable so please check our post before you visit.

Warm spring days lure boaters to Pennsylvania’s waters.

A safety reminder to boaters that they are required to wear a U.S. Coast Guard approved life jacket at all times while underway or at anchor on boats less than 16 feet in length or on any kayak, canoe, or paddleboard until April 30.
