A family reached out because they wanted to make spring break happen for their multigenerational crew all with sports schedules, school calendars across multiple districts, and different room needs to consider.

Hawaii isn’t just for honeymoons!

I just quoted an amazing Hawaii trip for a family, and I really try to get to know how your family travels, what you want, what you need, and what you’re comfortable spending before I recommend anything. I really try to match the resort to the family instead of just throwing a bunch of random options at them.

For this family, I loved the Hilton Hawaiian Village because they get the best of both worlds with pools, lagoon & beach time plus Hawaiian cultural activities and a luau right at the resort and easy access to explore Oahu, including Pearl Harbor.

It’s also a great home base for exploring Oahu without sacrificing those relaxing resort days.

Celebrating the marriage of one of my best college friends this weekend got me thinking about honeymoons… and, of course, looking back at my own.

Talking about their honeymoon plans had me reminiscing about ours at Sandals Royal Caribbean.

And now, that resort is getting a whole new chapter. Sandals Royal Caribbean is becoming Sandals Caribbean Cay, reopening December 18 with a bigger pool, new dining, and a brand-new beach club on the private island.

So naturally, now I’m over here reminiscing about my honeymoon and dreaming about a return trip.

Somehow, we’re already a week into September, but before I fully move on to a new month, I had to take a look back at August!

It was a busy month in the best way! My clients traveled to some pretty incredible places, I got to help plan some amazing adventures, and I finally experienced Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party for the first time! And of course, I came home with plenty of new tips and things to share with my clients.

Now we’re back to school, settling into our routines, and kicking off September with some very questionable weather and a few power outages.

August was a good one, and I’m excited to see what September has in store! Here’s to another month of travel, planning, and making memories.

If you’re hitting the road for a little getaway this upcoming holiday weekend, here’s a road trip mistake that can cost you money:

Don’t automatically stop at the first gas station you see right off the interstate!

Drive just 5–10 minutes off the highway. Gas prices can often be noticeably lower than those at stations right at the interstate exits.

It only takes a few extra minutes and could save you some money along the way!
