God gave us a beautiful day on the water and favored me and Rosie Williams over the rest of the competition yesterday! Good job to Steve Harter and Darrin Pulver for pulling out a good bag as well as big fish honors.
Had a deck full of rods to start the morning off but figure them out pretty quick. They weren't in the mood to chase at all. But found a few fish that were looking at a late spawn.
Lures used:
Aaron's morning dawn roboworm on a drop shot rig.
Texas rigged chigger craw
Hula grubs were the lures

Post spawn with bluebird skies made more a tough bite today. Super finessed them on a hair jig. Did manage to get a decent one on a swimbait.

Fished the Umpqua Valley Bassmasters tournament on Siltcoos Lake over the weekend. My parnter and I were able to put together a 2nd place finished (21.6 lbs) with 2nd fish of the tournament. Congratulations to Chris and Dawson on their win.
No swimbait bite fore me this go around. Jigs and creature baits on a 100 yard stretch of windblown reeds. Fishing it as slow as you can possibly stand it.

What a day.......flat tire on the way to the lake, stopped to grab a few snacks before continuing on to the lake only to have my starter go out on the truck! Finally made it to the lake and catch this pre spawn giant!!
