When couples start planning a destination wedding, the vision is usually clear—celebrating with their favorite people in a beautiful place.
What’s not so clear is how to manage the travel for everyone involved.
Recently, I worked with a couple who had a simple goal:
They wanted a multi-day wedding experience with their closest friends and family—but they didn’t want to spend months coordinating travel details for every guest.
The Challenge
They had a vision, a general budget, and a destination in mind—but quickly realized how many moving pieces were involved:
Coordinating guest travel
Managing room blocks and deadlines
Answering ongoing questions from friends and family
Making sure everything came together smoothly
They didn’t want to become the “go-to contact” for every travel question—and honestly, they shouldn’t have to.
The Approach
My role was to step in as their travel partner and handle the details behind the scenes so they could stay focused on their wedding.
Together we:
Narrowed down the right resort and timeline based on their vision
Managed the group contract and travel logistics
Created a clear, easy-to-use booking process for guests
Provided structured communication so guests knew exactly what to do
Kept the wedding couple up to date on guest registrations
Walked travelers through a full pre-departure review so everyone felt prepared
The Result
Instead of managing logistics, the couple got to focus on the experience:
Spending time with their guests
Enjoying the celebration
Creating meaningful memories without the added stress
And for their guests?
A smooth, supported travel process from start to finish.
