And the final major announcement for Walt Disney World updates is the Villains Land at Magic Kingdom!!!!

Disney pulled back the curtain on the highly anticipated Villains Land coming to Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World, revealing its official name, storyline and new details about its TWO major attractions.

#1 The scale of this land sounds MASSIVE. Disney says Villains Land will feature fortresses and palaces created by the villains themselves, along with dining, shopping and more, and its size and scale were compared to Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge.

#2 MALEFICENT COASTER: Guests will come face-to-face with Maleficent while racing through enchanted briars surrounding her mountaintop fortress. Imagineers say the coaster will feature elements they’ve never attempted before on similar attractions.

#3 MIRROR REALM DARK RIDE: The second headliner will be hosted by the Magic Mirror. Guests will travel beneath the Evil Queen’s palace before being transported into the mystical Mirror Realm, where numerous Disney Villains will appear through a combination of physical sets and special effects.

And there’s an ORIGINAL story behind everything: an evil wish corrupted a Wishing Well, spreading poisoned magic throughout the forest and attracting villains who want to claim its remaining power.

Magic Kingdom is about to get a LOT darker, and I'm all for it!

We knew Monstropolis was coming to Hollywood Studios, but Disney just revealed some new major details during this year's D23!!

#1 The Glob Theater will feature a new show called “Welcome to Monstropolis,” hosted by Mike and Sulley. Disney Legend Randy Newman is even creating an original song for the land — his first-ever song composed for a Disney theme park!

#2 Guests can grab a slice at Archie’s Scare Pig Pizza, explore the Monsters University Alumni Club and shop for souvenirs at the Scareporium.

#3 And YES — Harryhausen’s Restaurant is becoming REAL! The iconic restaurant from Monsters, Inc. will feature an all-new menu and a sushi chef brought to life as an Audio-Animatronic with multiple moving tentacles.

And the best part?! Even though construction continues on the massive Monsters, Inc. door coaster, these other areas begin to open in 2027!

Like, Animal Kingdom is getting ALOT of love! 🫶

#1 Disney Is FINALLY Bringing the Yeti Back to Life on Expedition Everest! One of Walt Disney World’s most legendary Audio-Animatronics is making a comeback!

#2 Disney Reveals MAJOR Details for the New Encanto Ride, the biggest being that it's name is Antonio’s Fiesta de Encanto! As one of the headliners of Tropical Americas, guests will actually get to step inside Casita and celebrate Antonio’s gift of communicating with animals!

Your ride vehicle will resemble pieces of furniture brought together by Casita, and the vehicles will react to the scenes around you as you travel through never-before-seen areas of the Madrigal home. The adventure eventually takes you into Antonio’s rainforest-filled room featuring more than 50 animals!

Even better for families: there will be NO height requirement!!

Stephanie Beatriz, Jessica Darrow and Diane Guerrero are also returning as Mirabel, Luisa and Isabela.

#3 Disney Reveals MAJOR Details for the New Indiana Jones Ride, Indiana Jones and the Myth of the Jade Serpent! This attraction will also be part of the new Tropical Americas land.

Guests will join Indy while exploring an ancient Maya temple before being pulled through a portal into the Maya Underworld, where they’ll encounter monstrous bats, giant scorpions, fire, snakes and the legendary serpent Tsukán.

Disney also confirmed Harrison Ford himself is the model for the new Indiana Jones Audio-Animatronic, marking the first time his likeness will appear in a Disney attraction anywhere in the world.
