Wood & Westland has partnered with Spa Eastman to present a “Painting Retreat “. Join the professional artist Tom Bramhill.... http://paintingretreat.blogspot.ca for three days of instruction. Tom will guide you through the process of how to plan success into any given scene or picture.
Whether you are a novice or have been painting for years, you will benefit from Tom’s approach and unique style. The content of the program will focus on how to record shapes and colours instead of thinking in terms of “items” and “objects”. The emphasis is on the starting procedure that ensures success, each time you paint regardless of topic.
The Painting Retreat is hosted by the Destination Spa Eastman (www.spa-eastman.com) which is located outside the Village of Eastman, Quebec. This tranquil setting, overlooking Orford mountain, is the ideal location for inspiration. Included in the package is 4 nights accommodation, 3 meals per day of fine cuisine, healthy snacks served at all times (herbal tea, fruits and nuts) - Access to 3 guided walks and fitness activities guided by professional fitness coach & kinesiologists – Access to workshops on the art of living healthy – Access to the gym - the pools, the hammam (steam bath) and the outdoor natural swimming pond.
The price per person, single is $1,271.80 and $1,083.20 double occupancy. The fee for non painting partners is $903.20. The language of instruction is English. Easels are provided. Please bring drawing materials, paints, brushes and canvas
