💧 Forget the matching shirts... bring the matching water bottles! 💧

Welcome to my Disney TED Talk. 😆

If you're heading to Walt Disney World this summer, there is one piece of advice I will give you over and over and over again:

👉 Drink. More. Water.

No matter where you're from. No matter how much time you spend outside.

Florida summer heat is a different beast. ☀️🥵

I have seen people spend months planning the perfect Disney vacation only to end up feeling miserable because they got dehydrated.

And here's the thing... it sneaks up on you.

One minute you're having the time of your life, and the next you're feeling:
😵 Dizzy
😫 Exhausted
🤯 Foggy-headed
😠 Irritable
💔 Crampy and uncomfortable

Nobody spends thousands on a Disney vacation hoping to feel like that.
My favorite Disney "hack" isn't a Lightning Lane strategy or a secret snack location.

It's FREE ICE WATER. 🙌

Anywhere that serves fountain drinks can also give you complimentary cups of ice water.

And guess what?
💦 You can ask for more than one.
💦 You can refill your bottles.
💦 You can keep doing it all day long.

I also recommend:
✔️ Bringing a refillable water bottle
✔️ Taking advantage of water refill stations throughout the parks
✔️ Drinking water BEFORE you feel thirsty
✔️ Alternating water with those fun Disney treats and drinks

Trust me on this one... staying hydrated can make or break your vacation.
Future-you will thank you. 😎

🧀🍷 Don't walk past this hidden gem at Disney Springs.

When people talk about Disney Springs dining, there are a few big names that always get the spotlight...

But can we talk about The Basket by Wine Bar George for a minute? 👀

Because sometimes you don't want a big sit-down meal.

Sometimes you want to grab something delicious, find a quiet spot, and simply enjoy the evening.

The Basket is perfect for that.
A few menu favorites include:

Just because the ship stops at a port doesn't mean you HAVE to get off. 😏

Hear me out.

While everyone else is heading off on excursions, you could be enjoying one of the most relaxing parts of your cruise vacation.

Imagine this:
☀️ A quieter pool deck
📖 Reading your book without fighting for a chair
💦 Shorter waits for waterslides
🍹 A tropical drink in hand
😴 Maybe even a nap in a peaceful corner of the ship

Sounds pretty nice, right?

And let's be honest... sometimes vacation needs a vacation.

Another bonus? Staying onboard can leave a little extra room in the budget for souvenirs, specialty dining, spa treatments, or maybe even that Palo brunch you've been eyeing. 😉

I always tell my clients that there is no "right" way to cruise. Some people love every port adventure. Others love a slower pace and taking advantage of everything the ship has to offer.
