Home for seasonal rent located in the quaint town of Chittenden with a local supply store right next door! While renting this home you will have access to 2 bedrooms with 2 queen beds, 1.5 baths, an inviting kitchen, spacious mud room for your equipment, fireplace, and plenty of space to spread out after a day on the slopes. We are looking for respectful & trustworthy renters to occupy our home between December 1st-April 1st (ending date could be later if folks are still skiing!)
We are located 10 minutes from Rutland, 20 minutes from Killington, 10 minutes to Pico, 45 to Ludlow. We have VAST Snowmobile trails, rent some sleds and have a blast. Head to downtown Rutland for dinner and a show at the Paramount, then come home to a roaring fire and your favorite show. Let this be your Home Away From Home.
*You will need a truck and/or all/4wheel drive vehicle for the driveway, it is a little steep - a smaller vehicle aka Civic/similar model would not have good luck*
Offering lower than normal rent with the agreement that renter(s) treat our house as if it were your own, and notify owners of any issues that could arise (which we do not anticipate, but knowing we have eyes on the home that we can trust is key). *The only place where renters will not have access to is the master suite & an additional bedroom which will be locked off during the duration of rental*
Rent: $2000/month
Includes all utilities, plowing, bi-weekly cleaning by our trusted company (Maid in the Shade LLC) *this is so home is cleaned regularly to maintain freshness/ready for us to come home late spring and so we have another set of eyes on the home for property mgmt purposes* (we will send you their thorough cleaning check list!), and Garbage pickup.
Linens – It will be the renter's responsibility to bring their own linens (sheets/blankets/towels/etc). We do have extra sets at the house to borrow if something happens while renters are present. *Renter can choose to have their linens washed bi-weekly with their clean*
Supplies – Owner will supply: Garbage bags (big and small), dish soap/pods, hand soap, sponges. All other desired supplies will be renters' responsibility (toilet paper, paper towels, toiletries, laundry detergent, etc)
Extras(fees apply): Our cleaning company can take care of your supply inventory AND provide grocery delivery before you come for the weekend! We will give you their number if you’re interested 😊
