Beginning this Friday, May 1, the City’s hourly parking payment kiosks will be installed and activated at the public Camp Ellis Pier and Bayview Beach parking lots.

Hourly parking in S**o is managed by the Flowbird app. If you’d like to pay for parking on your phone, you can download the app from your phone’s app store instead of using the Flowbird kiosk. The hourly beach parking rate is $2 per hour.

If you’re a frequent visitor to S**o’s beaches, consider purchasing a beach permit for the season! Beach permits allow for parking at Camp Ellis and Bayview Beach. At Bayview, resident seasonal permit holders may also park on Seaside Avenue and Bayview Extension where signage allows.

Seasonal permits can be purchased online or at S**o City Hall from March 1 to Oct. 15. Successful resident permit applications require a copy of your vehicle registration to show proof of residency.

For residents, a seasonal permit is $25 for the first car and $5 for a second car. We also offer a free pass for veterans of any age or for those over 62 years of age.
