Congratulations to Kathleen Dodge and the El Dorado/Lake Tahoe Film Office. Yesterday's final vote was 3-2 with a revisit in a year to keep the office funded... Which is LUCKY because Kathleen just secured a multi-million film project for the region!!

It was awesome to see so many people that came out in person and online to show their support and speak on her behalf., The CFAA was well-represented by current and past members and board members. You all made me so proud!! Hope to see you all at the upcoming ❤ I Love Film Mixer this Friday.

We extend our sincere gratitude to CFAA speakers Stan Bautista and Jen West for their engaging presentation on Locations and Permitting last night. Attendees greatly benefited from the insights shared and all made valuable connections; their enthusiasm made it hard for everyone to leave!

We look forward to the next CFAA event on July 15th, featuring Cody Martin, Angela Womack, and TeJae Stoval on the topic of HMU and Lighting.

The CFAA is the largest association of writers, directors, producers, actors, editors, crew and support services and people - all related to the local film and video production industry and community in the Sacramento, CA region. We have been supporting aspiring artists, students and seasoned professionals for over 15 years, and our organization continues to make an impact as an advocate for the Sacramento film industry and it’s people.

Hosting 3 programs each month, the CFAA schedules events every Tuesday night, and members and friends are all welcome to attend:
