🚨 Red Snapper Pre-Season Smack Down! 🚨

Our 4th and final Red Snapper EFP trip just opened back up for Sunday, May 17. We’re offering it as a split trip for 4 anglers at $850 per person.

This trip allows us to keep up to 24 red snapper total before the regular season even opens. If we put the snapper in the box early, we can spend the rest of the trip live bait trolling the reefs and wrecks looking for kings, cobia, mahi, and other pelagics.

Snapper season is finally back - May 22 through June 20 - and if you’ve been around here a while, you know how big that is. This fishery’s been basically closed for nearly 20 years, so it’s a pretty special window we get each summer of typically 1-2 days. This year, we get 39 days between the May-June season and 3 weekends in October.

We can keep 1 red snapper per person. We’ve been seeing plenty of fish, so we’ll likely put those snapper in the box pretty quick and then spend the rest of the trip bouncing around on other bottom fish or live-bait trolling for Kingfish, Cobia, and Sailfish.

Dates are already starting to fill and they won’t last long once we get closer. If you’ve got a specific day in mind, I’d go ahead and lock it in sooner than later. There’s no deposit to lock in your day.

We’ve also got one EFP snapper trip left before May 21 where we can keep up to 24 red snapper for the boat. Last EFP trip, we caught our 24 Red Snapper in 1 hour!

We were selected by FWRI to harvest 24 Red Snapper for 4 trips this spring season using an exempted fishing permit (EFP). We just finished our second trip yesterday and have quickly caught our limit of snapper each time! This was our first trip from last week with some good clients & great friends!
