Today on our tour we spotted a Sandhill Crane nest. These birds build their nests in shallow water using reeds and grasses creating a floating platform to keep their eggs safe. Both parents take turns guarding and caring for the eggs, which usually hatch in about 30 days.

Every tour brings a new and unique wildlife experience and were looking forward to seeing if we spot hatchlings soon!
