🎃🏰 Halloween at Disneyland Paris is a whole different kind of magic!

Throwing it back to one of my favorite Disney adventures! ✨ Disneyland Paris completely won me over with its Halloween decorations, spooky atmosphere, and a few surprises you won’t find at Disneyland in California!

👻 Phantom Manor is their version of the Haunted Mansion, and it’s wonderfully spooky!

🐉 And did you know there’s an actual DRAGON lurking underneath Sleeping Beauty Castle?! Seriously, how cool is that?!

From the gorgeous castle to all the little Disney details, there’s so much to love about Disneyland Paris. 🇫🇷✨

I’m so excited to be part of the Boutique Pumpkin Fundraiser at The Pizza Cookery in Thousand Oaks on Sunday, September 27!

I’ll be there from 11 AM–1 PM for a special reading of The Trucks That Saved Halloween followed by a book signing. 📚🧡

And there’s a LOT happening throughout the day:

Disneyland may have created a monster. 😂🎃🚗

After going back through all of my Cars Land at Halloween photos, I kept thinking about how much I love the way Radiator Springs transforms for Haul-O-Ween.

So naturally…we decided our Radiator Springs at home needed Halloween too. 😂

We added mini pumpkins, spiderwebs, a few little trees, fall leaves and some inexpensive Halloween lights — most of it was stuff we already had. I spent less than $10 on the new decorations, and it took us maybe 10 minutes to set everything up.

The best part was that my son was just as excited to decorate as I was. Nothing is permanently attached, so he could move the pumpkins, trees and decorations around and then drive Lightning McQueen and Mater through his newly decorated town. ❤️

And once we turned the lights on at night? That might have been my favorite part. ✨

Honestly, you could do this with almost any playset your kids already love — a dollhouse, train set, toy farm, construction site or little town. Such an easy way to make an old favorite feel new again for Halloween.

Now I'm already thinking about Christmas Radiator Springs… 🎄😂

Happy National Read a Book Day! 📚🎃

If you have a little one who loves trucks, diggers, tractors and all things that go, Halloween books are even more fun this time of year.

We’ve been pulling out some of our favorite not-so-spooky truck and vehicle Halloween books, and I rounded up 15 Halloween books for kids who love trucks on the blog — including The Trucks That Saved Halloween and some of our family favorites.

KACHOW! ⚡️🏁 Happy Lightning McQueen Day!

Obviously we had to celebrate by giving our Radiator Springs a little Halloween makeover. 🎃👻

A few mini pumpkins, spiderwebs, lights + decorations we already had and we had our own little Haul-O-Ween — for less than $10!
