This 3-night retreat is for spooky girls who want to travel light, dress the part, and be photographed in one of the most legendary haunted cities in America. Think: slasher summer energy meets witchy history, set against the backdrop of historic Salem MA.

Expect portraits at iconic filming locations from Hocus Pocus and Lords of Salem, haunted houses, beach arcades, and downtown landmarks. You’ll explore eerie attractions, shoot in moody, aesthetic spaces, and unwind with a small group of like-minded ladies. Tote bags filled with custom gifts and spooky guides will be waiting for you in your hotel room upon arrival!

Join us for Salem’s 400th founding anniversary! A once-in-a-lifetime experience during the city’s most haunted season.
We’ve curated every single detail to help you avoid the chaos of Salem's tourist crowds. At a much cheaper and affordable rate than the photography retreats, join us here and expect haunted ships, spooky markets, historic tours, Hocus Pocus locations, the Salem Night Faire under a Full Hunter's Moon and sooooo much more. To top it off, fall aesthetic documentary-style photography with optional lightly posed portraits.

We welcome solo travelers, couples, and friends of all identities!
21+ only. Only 8 guests max with 4 hotel rooms—two per room, no exceptions.

Private photoshoot retreats are available year-round. Booking up to 12 months in advance is recommended for longer payment plans.

Not only that but play dress up and do fun, witchy, ethereal photos at amazing, historical locations? May be time to invest in yourself and do something for YOU 🤩

🔮Even though our full moon "Spooky in Salem" Retreat for this September is full, you can request to be put on the waiting list for September 2026. The dates will be released this summer. Our retreats are a flat rate price of 💰3,000 with a payment plan that is customizable to you! We do recommend that client's invest in travel insurance just in case.

🩷All retreats require a non-refundable deposit when officially signing up. We do not cover your travel expenses. We take care of you from the minute you check in and check out of the retreat house.

Join us for an empowering photo shoot retreat in the heart of Salem, MA. Escape the everyday chaos and invest in yourself as we guide you on a multi-day journey through cobblestone streets, explore the city’s rich history, savor delicious New England cuisine, and immerse yourself in a world of fantasy. At breathtaking locations, we’ll capture ethereal, empowering images that will leave you feeling like magic. Make new friends with other lovely spooky ladies, enjoy witchy workshops, visit various Hollywood filmming locations, go shopping for unique treasures, and so much more! We will also be offering investment plans, allowing you to put down payments towards future retreats. Our mission is to give you the best experience in the Witch City! In the next couple of years we will provide spooky retreats in other famous haunted cities such as Savannah GA and New Orleans LA!

Meet your Hostess + Picture Witch!

Stephani of Chromalusion Photography & Films has been a professional photographer for 20 years and has captured a wide range of moments during her career. Specializing in automotive and bo***ir photography, she has also covered concerts and exclusive celebrity photo shoots. Stephani has photographed many diverse events and large weddings. She also holds her own themed photography sessions, including horror, mystical and a variety of other unique sets. Traveling the East Coast, she does photography for car shows and bo***ir as well as attending horror conventions. She is an indie horror filmmaker with over 400 copies sold of her first feature film which included actors from The Walking Dead. Along with being published in many American magazines and articles, her work has also been distributed in Italy, Australia, South Africa, Canada, and The United Kingdom.
