Hi Mom & Dad! 👋🏼 And happy EARLY 43rd anniversary!

They’re currently en route to Vancouver, Canada, where they’ll spend a few days before boarding the Disney Wonder for a 7-night sailing through Alaska! 🏔️🚢❄️

You know I preach this ALL the time: never, ever fly in the day of your cruise. Give yourself that extra cushion!

Not only does arriving early protect you from flight delays, cancellations, and other travel hiccups… but how cool is it to have the opportunity to explore your departure city, too?! Vancouver is absolutely worth a few extra days.

And as if on cue… they’re already experiencing some travel delays with their flight. This is exactly why I stress building that buffer into your vacation!

The good news? They have time. Their cruise isn’t leaving tomorrow.

Some of my favorite memories don’t live on a shelf.

They live in places.

Walking down Main Street with my family.

Watching fireworks from a Disney Cruise ship.

Spending the day at Fenway Park.

Hearing my family laugh on a ride we’ve experienced dozens of times.

Watching a sunset from a beach we’ll never forget.

Years from now, I probably won’t remember everything I bought.

But I’ll always remember how those moments felt.

That’s why I’ll choose experiences every chance I get.
