1) reserve a boat at least a week in advance. Watercraft Rentals has a 12 person pontoon for $350 for 4 hrs. 2)10am pick up, quick paperwork. 3) they filled our tubes 4)loaded us on the boat and off we go!! .

Overlook park is how I first got to know Canyon Lake. We love the crystal clear water and the rock jumping. Of course walking to the other side of the dam right before the sun comes down is the best way to end a fun filled day.

One of the most popular spots to tube the Guadalupe River -Horseshoe Loop. Get a tube at Shanty Tube or Tube Haus. Float about 2 hours and the shuttle takes you back to your original spot!

The expanded beach area was amazing and the fishing and kayaking just made my day! Get to Comal either before 10am or after 3pm because it does get full quick
