Anxiously awaiting more details for tourism to resume in Italy this summer. We will keep you posted.

We are anxiously awaiting more details...the Italian government announced its intention to allow visitors who are fully vaccinated and/or test negative to enter Italy from mid-May. A “green pass” to prove eligibility will be used. No further details are available at this time. We will keep you posted. We already have 8 couples confirmed who are ready to travel to Florence and the Amalfi Coast this September and October.

Question - Where is the best place to stay in Florence?
Answer - Here are a few of my top favorite places to stay while in Florence; Westin Hotel, Hotel Santa Maria Novella, Rivoli Boutique Hotel, Hotel L'Orologio Firenze, and B&B Emozioni Fiorentine. Question of the day? What time of year do you recommend for me and my husband to visit Positano?
Answer: I recommend the best time to visit Positano is in the spring and fall, specifically April and early May and September/early October. During these months, crowds are largely gone and temperatures are the most comfortable, with highs in the 70s and 80s. The tourist season officially begins at Easter and runs through the month of September, but during May and June prices are generally lower than during July and August. Although summer may sound like the ideal option to visit Positano, you will experience heavy foot and car traffic plus hotels and restaurants are booked up months in advance.
