It is with great regret and circumstance that we have chosen to close our doors to the establishment at this location permanently. It has been 3 weeks since we locked the doors hoping to find some way of continuing on, but were unable to do so. Due to legal bindings we cannot discuss too much the details of why we chose to do so. But we will say that due to unfair circumstances dealing with incorrect findings by a botched audit and grave disagreements with our property owners on how they managed the property and treated their tenants that we chose to fight and push back for the fair and due circumstances we were owed. As many of you might have noticed business had been down the past 18 months in direct correlation with the construction on Hausman Rd that ended up 18 months over it schedule completion. Not only taken longer they managed to make the road super dangerous and inconvenient to drive on. To top it off on several occasions the entrances to our center were completely blocked off including on weekend nights. In an effort to operate the business and fight all these battles it took a toll on the family. We had a family issue arise out of town and due to our situation we were unable to leave to be with them immediately. So after several family and business sit downs with our lawyers we decided it best for our family's future was to close the doors. We will be continuing to fight these issues with litigation and lawsuits where they are needed. We hope to reopen a business similar in the future but for now are taking the time to handle our legal matters and take some time to our selves. In closing the España Bar family would like to take time to thank everyone. Starting with all of those who were there at the beginning and some who continued with us till the end. All the current employees who were left in an unfortunate situation, and all the staff that worked hard and became part of our extended family over the years. A special thanks to all the performers and entertainers who came and created a great vibe for almost 9 years. And a special thanks to the customers who make it possible to have a successful business for just under a decade. And last but not least an Especially big THANK YOU!! to all the regulars who where there almost everyday becoming almost like family and defining and giving the character España Bar was always known for. We will miss all of you very much!! We will be taken some time to ourselves but will be around and hope to see everyone very soon. We ask that you feel free to post any pictures you might have of your experiences at España Bar on our page. We will be leaving it open for a while to relive the good times and putting them on our website which we will also be leaving open as a me-moratorium of all the fun and crazy times along the years. Thanks again to everyone that touched are lives.
