A Special Opportunity to Change a Veteran’s Life

The Good Faith Veterans Foundation has an opportunity to purchase a used tandem recumbent bicycle from a local seller for just $1,200. This specialized adaptive bicycle would immediately expand our Adaptive Cycling Program and provide life-changing experiences for veterans who cannot safely ride independently.

Among those waiting to benefit are a blind warrior and veterans living with severe traumatic brain injuries (TBI). For these heroes, riding alone simply isn’t possible. A tandem recumbent allows an experienced volunteer or caregiver to ride alongside them, making it possible to experience the freedom, exercise, confidence, and camaraderie that cycling provides.

Adaptive cycling is much more than recreation. It helps veterans:

* Improve physical strength, balance, and endurance.
* Support recovery from traumatic injuries.
* Reduce stress, anxiety, and isolation.
* Build confidence and reconnect with their community.
* Experience the joy and independence of outdoor recreation.

This is a unique opportunity because the bicycle is available locally at an exceptional price. Once it’s gone, replacing it could cost several thousand dollars.

Our Goal: Raise $1,200

Every contribution makes a difference.

* $25 helps purchase safety equipment.
* $50 helps prepare the bike for service.
* $100 sponsors a veteran’s adaptive cycling experience.
* Any amount brings us closer to putting this tandem recumbent into service for those who need it most.
