Our MSC Seascape cruise 🚢 out of Galveston was truly fantastic, and I’d highly recommend this ship! We opted for the Aurea class, which granted us access to the stunning spa featuring saunas, steam rooms, a salt room, sensory and progressive showers, hydrotherapy pools, and heated stone loungers. 🧖‍♀️ While I’ve heard critiques about the food, I found it surprisingly good—actually exceeding what we’ve experienced on other cruise lines. It seems MSC actively listens to guest feedback and makes real improvements. The ship was incredibly clean, the entertainment was awesome, and the service was top-tier. ✨ Just to clarify, while I previously mentioned a specific cost for the onboard rides, I simply meant they are priced at the higher end; everything does require an extra fee to enjoy. 💸

Galveston's newest cruise line, MSC, is ready to whisk travelers away to the sun-drenched shores of Costa Maya, Honduras, and Cozumel! For my inaugural journey, I opted for the Aurea experience, complete with an extended balcony on Deck 9. The perks started right away with priority boarding, and a delightful welcome of Prosecco and chocolates awaited me in my cabin. This week, I'm excited to dive into all the ship's amenities and explore every corner. I'll be back next Sunday and share all the highlights the following days.

Speaking of amazing rooms, we stayed in a Princess and the Frog themed one, and let me tell you, these rooms are truly designed to immerse guests in the bayou magic of Tiana's story. You'll discover decor directly inspired by *The Princess and the Frog*, featuring rich greens, golds, and blues. Elegant details throughout the space evoke both the jazz age of New Orleans and the enchanting Louisiana bayou. Expect to see subtle nods to characters like Tiana and her family, along with elements such as lily pads, fireflies, and Mardi Gras-inspired patterns, all beautifully integrated into the artwork, furnishings, and textiles.
