The Botanical Building in San Diego's Balboa Park, located on El Prado walkway is a historic, iconic lath house built for the 1915 Panama-California Exposition, housing over 2,100 plants like ferns, orchids, and cycads, with a famous Lily Pond in front. Recently renovated, it's a major landmark known for its unique architecture and seasonal floral displays, offering free admission and a beautiful, tranquil experience within the larger park.
