Spectacular scenery abounds in this land of exceptional climate and diverse vegetation. It is no wonder why hundreds of millions of shimmering orange and black Monarch butterflies have chosen this idyllic location for their winter migration.

Physical Requirements:
To view the Monarchs, participants must be able to walk 3 – 5 miles round trip (2-4 hrs) on uphill, uneven, narrow, gravel paths at altitudes of up to 11,000 feet. Horses may be hired at the foot of some of the trails, however not always available and not easy trails to ride.
