We had a blast last week with our group of locals pickling all the things! We took the age-old practice of pickling and had some fun in the kitchen! Guests got to experiment with hot and cold pickling as we head into our "chillier" (Yes, yes, we know. It's San Diego...) months.
⁣
For thousands of years, our ancestors have preserved food for the winter so this was a fun way to get back to the basics as we head into our holiday break. ⁣
⁣
