Next time you buy corn for your house or bbq, save the corn hairs (also called corn silk) & make a tea with it. It is a wonderful and natural medicinal tea with a great mild flavor 🍵

Hibiscus tea made from an infusion of dried hibiscus flowers & a perfect summer time drink on ice. Jamaica is popular in Mexico, Central America, & parts of South America & the Caribbean.

The color of this sweetened tea ranges from a beautiful crimson to darker shades of red; tartness similar to a cranberry and or tamarind. 🌺 It is definitely one of our favorite drinks to cool off with in hot weather🥃😎🖤🌺

We can't wait to feed you guys again at our pop-up dinner this Monday, June 10th

Who was at our one year anniversary ? Do you remember the
stuffed squash blossom with walnut chorizo confit compressed escabeche dipped in dark chocolate with a morita caramel, pepitas, & oxacan sea salt?

It was like omg 😭😱🤤 so so goood! Just like our event in January, we are offering a parallel vegan menu for our dinner by early request this Monday. Chef Lety (Hija Del Maiz) & Pastry Chef Dominique (Taste Venture Tours) believe it's all about building flavor with great ingredients!

We are so grateful that we continue to grow our community & all the wonderful new followers we've added the last few months. Also, thank you for everyone who's been here since day one. We are truly humbled everyday by the support.👏

With all the new folks here, we wanted to reintroduce the creator of , . We hope all of you here will reach out & introduce yourselves as well!

Our owner & founder, Dominique has over a decade of experience in the food & beverage industry, being classically trained in french pastries & baking at at age 18. Food has always been a form of connection to her community, as well as a political stance, especially her time as an activist in LA.
She started Taste Venture Tours as a way to create a global dinner table to help bring people of all different roots together while celebrating & supporting local communities.

Much of her inspiration stems from her ancestral heritage & always finds a way to let that shine through. Dominique has been an active photographer for an even longer time then she's been professional cooking. Her favorite things to eat are tacos, fancy cheeses, great beer/wine, & anything with oxtail.

We hope that getting to know our founder a little better displays a more human element to our brand. TVT is all about being open to collaborations, so we encourage engagement & would love to hear from you! We hope to see some of you fine folks at our first pop-up dinner June 10th !
