I am honored that invited me to share my story and to talk about how much our environments shape our wellbeing. Our surroundings matter more than most people realize. They can hold us back or help us move forward.
Before I ever moved to Europe, I went to the desert because I needed a clean and mold free environment to recover. After years of Lyme disease, POTS, mast cell issues, and medical trauma, my body needed safety above everything else. .erimos gave me the first real sense of relief. It was an essential part of my journey.
As I healed a bit more but still felt something off, I became nomadic, searching for a place to truly belong. I returned to Central and South America for a time, then circled the world through Europe, the Middle East, Southeast Asia, Asia, Hawaii, and then back to California to plan my next steps.
Eventually, Southern Europe became the next chapter. Maybe because my roots and half of my family are here. Maybe because the food has fewer pesticides, is less processed, and has fewer triggers. Maybe because life moves at a pace that supports my nervous system. Maybe because Heathcare is a lot more affordable. Whatever the reason, I felt better almost immediately each time I visited. The shift in my quality of life was undeniable, and so was my decision to move.
In my interview with Jordan Pandy , I shared what it took to rebuild my life here, the grief of missing my family, friends, and Mexican food, the privilege that shaped my decisions, and the environments I chose to support my health and my work.

I carry deep appreciation for every place and every person that helped me get here, including my own intuition and wisdom. Thank you. Love you ♥️
P.S. I felt ’s ‘Desclocado’ (aka a deep desire to return, “home”) was perfectly fitting for this one, especially after spending so much time on Ilha Madeira, where the bad is from.
