Ahead of the first-ever weekend, we spoke with Jimmie Johnson, El Cajon native, NASCAR Hall of Famer, and the only driver competing in two races, about this iconic moment. 🤩
 
From June 19–21, drivers will take on a one-of-a-kind street race at Naval Base Coronado, speeding along a 3.4-mile waterfront course with views of San Diego Bay. It’s also the first NASCAR event on an active military base, honoring the and the nation’s 250th anniversary.
