🥺💔 My second son is leaving for college in a month, and I am feeling all the things. Every campus tour we took - getting lost finding the admissions office, figuring out byzantine parking rules, dreaming about “what if” is etched deep in my memory.

Now, as I pack him up and prepare for another 🐥 to leave the nest, I’m turning my nostalgia energy into something new… a 4-part blog series to help other families make their own college tour memories (without the stress).

There is a backstory to this one that you can read below.

TLDR - is all over my IG feeds. It brings stargazing to a whole new level. Their glamping domes offer RIDICULOUSLY amazing views of the hoodoos and the Milky Way.

I’ve been dying to try it, but since its location in is exactly halfway between our house and my son’s university, the Big Kid is going to be our guinea pig!

The backstory: my 20 year-old son goes to school in Fort Collins, Colorado. That is an approximately 16 to 18 Hour drive from our home in San Diego. He likes to vex me by trying to make it in a single drive… so my mission is to thwart him by coming up with great places that he absolutely must stop along the way. When I offered him this chance to stay at this incredible property, even he couldn’t resist.

I can’t wait to share pictures, and don’t worry, that kid has stayed enough great places that if this place isn’t great, he’ll definitely tell me!

Also, for those of you who have multiple kids, the phrase “parity is important” may resonate. So far, my daughter has reaped most of the benefits of my new business venture. It was time to start spreading the love. 🥰😇
