Farmers market Friday mornings at the Rancho Bernardo Winery! What a nice little market with all the amazing fresh goodies you need! The kefir dips I bought us, SO delish and the fresh peaches 🍑 like God's candy! Everyone was so nice and friendly, giving samples, and the prices were decent. Thank you to Peggy for the delicious jam and Patricia for the melt-in-your-mouth cheese for our cheese board that night! I’ll be back for sure! A visit to the San Diego Botanic Garden in Encinitas. San Diego Botanic Garden is the home to 2 endangered Amorphophallus titanum or Co**se Flowers. After 4 patient-years, one has bloomed and the Garden is expecting the second plant to fully bloom around the week of November 8th! This is a rare and special event for us plant lovers and locals alike. Reservations are required so check out sdbgarden.org for ticket information.

Visit the Santa Margarita River Trail in Fallbrook, California. Looking for an easy relaxing adventure solo, with friends, or with the kids!? The river trail preserves in Fallbrook is one of my favorite hikes to go explore on. You’ll always run into people walking their dogs, horses on the trail, or just people out enjoying their day! Be sure to bring a picnic 🧺 to enjoy when you reach the water at the end and dip your feet in! As you can see lots of different terrains to enjoy. The huge rocks, shady lush areas, and keep your eyes out for lots of cute lizards 🦎 basking in the sun! You can do the entire hike in an hour and a half to two hours depending on how much the kids explore or you take your time and enjoy!

Annie's Canyon Trail is a great family hike. It is a 1.4 mile loop through a canyon near the coast in Solana Beach. You are rewarded with beautiful views of the ocean from the top of the trail. Most of the hike is easy with one harder part for young kids, climbing a ladder. Dogs are not allowed in the canyon portion of the trail.

I always enjoy going to Lake Miramar in the Scripps Ranch area. It is so beautiful. It has a paved walking path 5 miles around the lake. You can walk, run, bike or blade. It is dog friendly. You can also see ducks, fish and go out in a little boat. There are picnic areas to enjoy as well!
