Lufthansa is expanding its Allegris cabin to more US routes, adding Munich flights to San Diego (March 30), Newark (April 15), and Charlotte (August). This nearly doubles its Allegris-equipped destinations, which already include Chicago, San Francisco, Shanghai, and Bengaluru, operated by the Airbus A350-900.
The rollout enhances passenger comfort with upgraded first and business class suites. Business class satisfaction exceeds 90%, aligning with Lufthansa’s push for premium long-haul service.
FAA delays have slowed Allegris integration on the 787-9, but Lufthansa remains committed to fleet modernization.
