📢 ANNOUNCING: Community Economic Development (CED) Small Business Grants Team joins with OEWD to share the relaunch of the Accessible Barrier Removal Grant
The Accessible Barrier Removal Grant reimburses eligible accessibility improvements that help make small business storefronts more accessible to the public and support compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
The program provides up to $10,000 in reimbursement for accessibility improvements at commercially zoned storefronts throughout San Francisco.
The program’s goals are to:
🔸️Improve accessibility at public-facing storefronts throughout San Francisco.
🔸️Remove physical barriers that limit access to goods and services.
🔸️Support small businesses in complying with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).

This is a reimbursement program. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis and will be accepted until all available funding has been awarded or until June 11th, 2027, at 5 pm, whichever comes first.
