Sometimes we travel to rest. Sometimes to learn another culture. And sometimes to feel small.
In San Pedro de Atacama, under some of the clearest night skies on Earth, our Experience Maker Vicente takes you out to watch the sun set over the Salt Mountains, then to a stargazing camp where the conversation moves between science, philosophy, history, and the night sky.
Vicente is an engineer with a background in physics and astronomy. He says: “Every night, when someone sees Saturn’s rings or a galaxy millions of light-years away for the first time, I see in their eyes the same wonder that transformed me.”
