What happens when you fall in love with something that is 5,000 years old, complex, and alive?
We've been working on Peru for a while now. Longer than we usually do.
The country is so layered — pre-Inca and Inca, colonial and modern, Indigenous and immigrant, coastal and Andean — that we kept finding new threads we wanted to honor before we felt ready to officially announce the opening of our Peru experiences. We wanted to launch with people who could speak to all of it. Not just the icons.
Today, we're venturing into Peru. Our 14th country.
The experience makers we're launching with include archaeologists who've worked on Saqsaywaman and Machu Picchu, Quechua weavers in the Sacred Valley, the fishermen of Chorrillos whose daily catches supply Lima's best kitchens, yachaqs (Andean healers) who work with medicinal plants, and people who can take you inside Peru's celebrated food culture.
Peru, in our co-founder Vinitaa's words, is "ancient, ornate, and deeply continuous" — one living cultural fabric.
We hope you'll come.
