There are parts of Texas that everyone comes to visit for all the beauty. Devil's Backbone area (Fischer, Tx), and very specifically the Honeysuckle is one of those places!

Excellent facility, unbelievable views, Texas sunsets, impeccable service, quality food and Drinks. There is a reason why friends and family love to visit us now that we are frequently in the area.

Definitely one of the nicest hotels we have been to. Right across the street from the Charleston City Market in the French Quarter.

We had a great drive here today from Asheville. I will post pictures in my next post showing our stops along the way. Triplefalls Waterfalls in the Dupont State Recreational forest, lunch in Greenville, SC and a scenic drive.

We were originally planning to return the rental car today, but decided to extend our rental for the rest of the week! Glad we did.

What we like most about Asheville is the amazing selection of mom and pop businesses we can support. Very few chains or corporate restaurants in this town. Also one of the reasons we love Isla Mujeres so much. We are able to find truly interesting a unique places to eat and shop.

Let's get you to Asheville so you can experience this wonderful place!!!

2 days in Asheville and we experience 4 bear citings. The 3rd time was this morning and mama had her 2 playful cubs. Last year, a week in Alaska, flying in seaplanes and helicopters in search and we saw none. Loving North Carolina! You should talk with me if you dare. I will get you booked for your next adventure. Please get the insurance! Lol

I can't wait to plan your trip to the Carolinas!!! Before this week, I had no idea how charming it is here. We are just beginning our trip, but have already decided that we can't wait to come back. We definitely understand what George Vanderbilt saw in this area when he decided to settle here.

We are staying at the Cambria hotel in downtown Ashville, across the street from the Grove Arcade. The hotel is beyond meeting expectations. See our pictures attached.

Today we toured the Biltmore Estate and tasted wine at the winery. Wow! Pictures attached.

Tomorrow a little hike nearby, Craggy Pinnacle Trail on the Blue Ridge Parkway.

On Friday we head to Charleston, SC for 4 nights. With reservations at the Loutrel hotel in the French Quarter.
