Our Iceland layover turned into the perfect mini adventure. ✈️🇮🇸

Instead of staying in the airport, we headed into Reykjavík for lunch, walked around a bit, and then spent the afternoon soaking at Sky Lagoon with ocean views and steam all around us.

Honestly, it was the exact reset we needed between flights and such a good reminder that a layover does not have to feel like wasted time.

Icelandair stopovers are definitely worth considering if you want to turn one trip into two. ♨️

We are so excited to share our first official Finnish partner for Hidden Gems Finland: Aurora Escape 2027 — Magical Pond in Ruka, Lapland. ✨❄️

When we first imagined this journey, we planned for one special night in a glass-ceiling igloo. But after finding Magical Pond, we knew this experience deserved more time.

So now, our travelers will spend four nights in glass-ceiling igloos surrounded by snowy forest, northern skies, and the quiet magic of Lapland.

Swimming with sea turtles in Akumal was one of those moments I’ll never forget. 🌊🐢

There’s something so magical about seeing them in the wild — just peacefully moving through the water like we were lucky enough to be guests in their world for a little while. ✨️

Sharing this today for World Turtle Day, because experiences like this are exactly why thoughtful travel matters.

So grateful for moments like this — and for places that remind us how beautiful the world really is.

Because this view does not come standard at home. 🌊✨️

Driving through Charlotte Amalie with the water beside us was one of those “ok, this is why we came” moments.

And honestly? Rent the Jeep. St. Thomas is made for scenic drives, beach hopping, lookout stops, and pulling over every five minutes because the view somehow keeps getting better.

Spent three unforgettable days experiencing Austria right here in New England — at the beautiful Von Trapp Resort in Stowe, Vermont with . 🇦🇹✨

From Austrian food, wine, fashion, and culture to meaningful conversations with wonderful new industry connections, this hosted experience was such a special one.

A few highlights:
✨ A seven-course welcome dinner prepared by an incredible Michelin-starred chef flown in from Austria
✨ Dinner at the Von Trapp Brewery
✨ A Vermont orchestra performance
✨ A beautiful fashion show featuring Austrian hand-dyed fabrics
✨ Meeting Kristina von Trapp
✨ Time with the Highland cows… including the sweetest babies

There was definitely work involved, but also so much fun — and it was such a beautiful reminder of why I love this industry: connection, culture, storytelling, and finding experiences I can bring back to my clients in a more personal way.

So grateful to for including me in such a thoughtful and memorable few days.

Came for the mountain views and Austrian vibes, stayed for the baby Highland cows. 🐮✨

The Highland cow tour at von Trapp Resort was such a sweet surprise and easily one of the cutest experiences to add to a Stowe itinerary.

Fluffy cows, peaceful Vermont scenery, and the cutest little babies? Absolutely yes.
