I am speaking at Northwest Orchid society in Seattle on Oct 12th. The title is “living tradition” the lecture includes common knowledge of Neofinetia (tradition, history, growing tip, and pots etc) and try to cover as many aspects as possible! I will bring plants and pots to sell at meeting. Preorder is also available from my website. I posted many plants already last month but will try to add few more plants for the meeting on website. There is zoom recording also so please comment “lecture” if you want information about lecture and preorder! Looking forward to see you in person or on screen 😊 #伝統園芸 #

Habenaria radiata-one of my favorite species from Japan other than Neos. I was told used to be there were hundreds of them growing on rice field in Japan. I can’t believe it was the common. Now I struggle to find them and bring them here in US. I can’t even imagine how cool it looks to have so many in one place. This is come back from last year. No repotting, no digging! #伝統園芸

It was great visiting flower exhibition in Korea today. I was already in Japan so of course had to come here! Amazing flower varieties and well grown collection. Sounds like this was the first year of this event. It takes place today and tomorrow. I highly recommend to visit if you are around the area! I used to come to Korea with my father a lot before I moved to US. It’s been 15 years but growers here has been always so nice and welcoming. Thank you for the hospitality. Got few plants to bring back to US! Stick around ☺️ #伝統園芸
