Marilyn M. Bradford, MSSW, MEd. CFMW Right Recovery for You is the art of unleashing your life. Marilyn M. Bradford She was a square peg in a round hole.

Marilyn's target has always been to empower individuals to come to a place of true choice. Marilyn is an international speaker, psychotherapist and teacher who has worked in the field of addiction for over thirty years. She is the creator of “Right Recovery For You”, a radical and unique approach to ending any addictive or compulsive behavior. Marilyn's addictions to alcohol, food, and the wrongne

ss of self, and her unwillingness to accept addiction as a life sentence led her to create this transformative and very different program. Growing up in an academic family that stressed the supreme value of logic and the scientific method,

Marilyn knew from an early age that she was not going to fit well in this world. What others took for granted seemed insane to her. This was the beginning of the sense of fundamental wrongness of self that eventually led her to escape through food, alcohol and adapting to other people’s realities. While searching for alternatives, she was introduced to Access Consciousness. She found pragmatic tools and techniques to empower herself and others to move beyond limiting belief systems. Seeing the vast improvement in her psychotherapy/addiction clients that came from using these tools, she approached Gary Douglas, the founder of Access Consciousness, and together they founded “Right Recovery For You”.

Now she travels the world offering others a chance for true freedom from addiction.

What if the first love has to be for you?
We’re often taught that loving ourselves is selfish.
I say… its the opposite.

Self-love is not selfish. It’s part of receiving the gift that you are.
And this isn’t just about romantic love.

It’s about all forms of love:
how you relate to yourself
how you receive from life
how much joy, beauty, and gratitude you let in
how willing you are to acknowledge that you are a gift

This is one of my favorite clips because it widens the whole conversation.

If this lands, I’d love to know:
What would change if you stopped making self-love wrong?

What if love has very little to do with relationship as we’ve been taught to define it?
So often, “relationship” comes with rules, expectations, rightness, wrongness, and fixed points of view.

But what if love is something far more alive than that?

What if love is:
expansiveness
generosity
receiving
curiosity
joy in your body
the energy of what else is possible

This conversation is part of what I will be exploring in What’s Love Got to Do With It?

If you’ve been asking for a different possibility with love, receiving, or the way you relate to yourself and others, this one is for you.

What’s love got to do with it? Maybe a lot more than we think.

Some addictions don’t look dramatic.
They look like being the responsible one.
The strong one.
The one who never needs help.
They look like people-pleasing, overthinking, perfectionism,
or constantly putting yourself last.

Addiction isn’t about weakness.
It’s about where you abandon yourself to cope.

Take a moment and just pause - explore the energy of abandoning yourself to cope…. And then the energy of having your own back and being with yourself in the hard moments. What shows up for you?

Stay curious.
Let’s chat.

A private session doesn't require a crisis or a perfectly defined problem. Sometimes, the sign that something is ready to shift is simply the feeling of heaviness.

Are your finances weighing you down? Does your career feel like a constant uphill climb? Are relationships feeling heavier than they should? Does every decision feel like a massive effort?

That burden you've been carrying? You are not obligated to keep hauling that energy forward just because it has become familiar.

In private sessions, we create the space to examine what you're actually aware of and allow that old, heavy energy to finally lift.

If you are ready for things to be lighter, more expansive, and easier, let's explore what's possible.

Have you ever made yourself smaller so someone else could feel comfortable?
I’ve done it. Most of us have.

People desire you to be smaller so they can relate to you at their level. And when you’re truly being you — expansive, aware, in question — some people won’t know what to do with that energy.

That’s not your problem to solve by shrinking.
What does it mean to stop playing small — and what becomes possible when you choose to expand instead?

Where have you been making yourself smaller? 👇
