Applications for our Summer 2026 Photography & Storytelling Internship close Friday, February 13th.📸

The role is centered on writing and digital storytelling, supported by landscape, wildlife, and event photography. The intern will help translate conservation science, land protection efforts, and partner work into accessible blog and social media content that connects audiences to the Corridor.

This paid opportunity is offered as part of the Environmental Discovery Awards Program, with our organization serving as a host, and is open only to students enrolled at the following schools: New College of Florida, State College of Florida (Manatee–Sarasota), The Ringling/FSU, Ringling College of Art + Design, and the University of South Florida (all campuses)

Biotica EcoTours will lead you on a guided exploration of the mangrove habitats in Lemon Bay, with a visit the bird rookery island that is only accessible by kayak for some wonderful birding opportunities!

🐬🐬 We had dolphins show up in the shallows off the bird rookery on our last kayak tour at Cedar Point Environmental Park. They were sneaky and would pop up right next to your boat when you were looking the other way. Biotica EcoTours will be on an eco adventure in Morocco until the end of October! Since some of our travel is to the Sahara Desert and other remote regions, we will have spotty internet access, but we will respond to all calls and emails when we return.
We will still have tours at Cedar Point Environmental Park while we are out of the country.
