Canned jalapeños? Yes please! What could be better than enjoying the fruit of our summer labor on a cold day in February? After making a batch of Rebecca's Candied Jalapeños, I know one thing for sure: there is no way I've canned enough jars to make it till February. You may be wondering what Candie…

Picked about 30 cucumbers , about 10 jalenpeno peppers, and a handful of green beans from the garden over the last couple of days.

The peppers all have baby peppers or flowers on them, both the sweet and jalenpeno peppers

Seen a couple of tomatoes are turning red, although most are green, they are growing fast.

The eggplant flowers are so pretty so should have some little baby eggplant showing up.

The watermelon is slowly spreading all over the garden, but you can see the little baby watermelons on them. And the cucumbers are full of assorted sized cucumbers and spreading around as well.

Looks like there will be enough to practice canning dehydrating and such when we get to harvesting.

have acquired some 12-13 blueberry bushes - so will have a small patch of berries behind the grapes by next year and would like to add strawberries, raspberries and blackberries to that area as well.

Have also gotten some more, (5 vines) grapes and am running another line of them between the existing lines and the arbor. These are Carlos Muscadine grapes so we are now up to 24 assorted muscadine grape vines. Should have plenty of grapes!!

have gotten some more azealas, gardenias, butterfly bush, rose of sharon, and a few other flowers - will have them in pots for a little while until we figure out where to put everything. Yard should be full of color next year!
