Just completed bringing “My Reality”, a 63’ Neptunus yacht, up to Savannah from Ft. Lauderdale. 400+ nautical miles late...

Just completed bringing “My Reality”, a 63’ Neptunus yacht, up to Savannah from Ft. Lauderdale. 400+ nautical miles later, including being hit by a microburst storm while entering an inlet at night (probably one of the most frightening things I’ve ever experienced as we went to zero visibility in the middle of a narrow inlet surrounded by other boats). Crew of three including myself. Ran offshore the entire distance.

Departed Ft. Lauderdale Tuesday 5/6

Tuesday afternoon sailed up to Sailfish Harbor on Singer Island, FL. Fantastic place!

Wednesday up to St. Augustine, FL (a beautiful place to visit).

Thursday from St.Augustine, FL to St. Simon, GA.

Friday 5/9 final leg to and up the Wilmington River to Savannah.

Mission accomplished! My Reality is here!!!
